Question 1

1. What is a Flat Rate Cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Flat Rate Cleaning is priced based on the selected home size, number of areas, and an average/typical level of cleaning condition. The price is determined from the information provided when booking.

Question 2

2. Can I select Flat Rate if my house is very dirty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can still select Flat Rate Cleaning. However, the flat-rate price is based on an average cleaning condition. You can choose the dirty option, if the house is dirty. If the property is significantly dirtier than expected, additional charges may apply based on the actual condition and work required.

Question 3

3. Can the Flat Rate price change after booking?

Accepted Answer

In some situations, yes. The price may need to be adjusted if:
The actual condition of the home is significantly worse than the average condition.
The home is larger than the size selected during booking.
The number of rooms or areas is greater than what was selected.
The booking information does not accurately reflect the property.

Question 4

4. What should I select when booking?

Accepted Answer

Please select the correct home size, number of rooms/areas, and cleaning condition as accurately as possible. Incorrect information may result in a price adjustment after the cleaner assesses the property

Question 5

5. Who is Flat Rate Cleaning recommended for?

Accepted Answer

Flat Rate Cleaning is especially recommended for empty homes, move-in, move-out, vacant properties, and even occupied homes that are generally in a predictable condition, where the scope of work can be assessed more consistently.

Question 6

6. Is Flat Rate the same as hourly cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. Flat Rate Cleaning is based on the selected property details and expected condition rather than a set number of cleaning hours. However, if the actual property differs significantly from the booking information, additional charges may apply.

Question 7

7. Should I declutter before the cleaner arrives?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We recommend removing or organizing unnecessary items beforehand whenever possible. Check the decluttering option in the package if the cleaners will need to de-clutter.

Question 8

8. What if I have included the inside of cabinets or appliances cleaned?

Accepted Answer

If inside cabinets, refrigerators, ovens, or other appliances are included in your requested scope, please empty them before the cleaner needs to work on those areas. You can also empty them slightly before the cleaner’s arrival or while the cleaner is working in other areas.

Question 9

9. Does Flat Rate Cleaning include tile and grout cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No. Tile and grout cleaning is a separate specialized service and should not be confused with standard Deep Cleaning.

Question 10
