Regular / Light Cleaning & Housekeeping — Customer Supplies

A budget-friendly hourly service for routine cleaning and light housekeeping. Best suited for homes that are already reasonably clean and need regular upkeep.

SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT

Customers provide all cleaning products, cloths, sponges, garbage bags, a working vacuum, and a mop and bucket. Please have everything ready before your cleaner arrives.

Missing supplies or unsuitable equipment may limit the tasks that can be completed. Electricity and running water must be available.

CHOOSE YOUR CLEANING TIME

Choose four or six hours with one cleaner, based on your home’s size, condition and priorities.

This is an hourly service, not a flat-price or guaranteed-completion service. We work through your agreed priorities within your booked hours; every room or task may not be completed.

Additional hours are optional and require your approval and your cleaner’s agreement and availability. Extensions are not guaranteed.

SHARE YOUR PRIORITIES

Once your cleaner is assigned, please send your task list in the Kepsten app chat, with the most important tasks first. Include any housekeeping requests and special instructions.

Before starting, your cleaner will review the list with you and estimate the time needed. If your requests exceed the booked time, you will agree on which tasks to prioritise. Please record any changes in the chat.

SUITABLE FOR

• Light dusting and wiping accessible surfaces.

• Vacuuming and light floor mopping.

• Basic kitchen cleaning, including countertops, sink, stovetop and appliance exteriors.

• Routine bathroom cleaning, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, tubs and showers.

• Light tidying, making beds and changing customer-provided bed linen.

• Washing a small quantity of dishes and folding clean, dry laundry.

• Emptying household bins into your designated disposal area.

Housekeeping tasks use the same booked time as cleaning.

NOT SUITABLE FOR

Deep cleaning, heavy grease or buildup, neglected areas, extensive scrubbing, appliance or cabinet interior cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, renovation cleanup, mould removal, steam cleaning, or carpet and upholstery shampooing.

For detailed cleaning or stubborn buildup, choose our Deep Cleaning service. Permanent stains, damage and worn finishes cannot be corrected through routine cleaning.

ARRIVAL & CLEANING TIME

Please allow for the estimated arrival window shown in your booking, usually 1–2 hours. Traffic, earlier appointments or unexpected issues may affect arrival.

Your booked cleaning hours start when cleaning begins—not at the beginning of the arrival window.
